I have a douchebag cousin on my mom's side who hates women and hated that my dad treated women with respect. After my mom died and my dad remarried my stepmom, Douchebag presumed that he'd stop being invited to family gatherings as he wasn't "part of the family" anymore. When Dad and Stepmom were invited to my aunt/Douchebag's mother's birthday party, Douchebag threw a fit. Later he told Aunt that if she didn't cut Dad and Stepmom out of the family, he was going to move across country and never speak to Aunt again; Aunt basically told him she'd help him pack his bags. Douchebag is now somewhere out west living with his equally douchey father and our family is much happier without him.

I had suffered an intense amount of loneliness throughout middle and high school. I survived middle school through people I met on an online game, but the game’s community was extremely toxic and the friends I made all quit one after the other, so when I found a discord server in high school, I switched to them. This group is what helped me get through high school which was the worst of it, but towards the latter half also wasn’t really fulfilling what I needed socially. Whenever I wanted to share or talk about an interest of mine I was blown off or turned down. If I wanted to interact with others I’d have to specifically interact with their interests, which I didn’t necessarily enjoy. At one point I even brought it up, asking that others “put a bit more effort in” and was told I was using them and was just looking for attention, despite them knowing full well I struggled with loneliness. When college started, for my first (and only) semester away from home I dormed. It was also at that time that I began talking more regularly with a specific friend who wasn’t part of that discord server. For the first time ever, I was able to share my favorite book since I discovered it four years prior. I may have been (basically) alone at 3am, talking to a device in the dark, but it was the most fulfilling I had felt in 8 years. The time I spent there will forever remain the fondest memories I have of my teenage years. I always think about it whenever I make some Kraft Mac n cheese xD

So one time when I was 11 in primary these two kids always teased me, like taking my bag. But things got too far when the both of them surrounded me at lunch and were going to supposedly “kill me” from their words, probably more like injure but anyway. One of them went at me and hit me then I punched him in the stomach and took off my jumper and then wrapped it around him and in a lasso like manoeuvre I pulled him and punched his gut so hard he froze and fell on the floor, that was the greatest punch of my entire life, around 10 seconds later he let out the most air craving gasp I’ve ever heard, as if he hadn’t breathed in 3 minutes. Walked into the ceiling fan while trying to walk on my kitchen countertops while stripping paint from my cabinets in January with my windows closed of course and got a chemical burn in my lungs.

l live in a poor country (Argentina) so there is no safety at all no matter where you live you can get robbed, kidnapped or shot at. Though there are no gangs thankfully like in the US or isnt controlled by drug cartels like Mexico or the rest of Center and South America... l myself lived in a good neighborhood but just a few blocks away was a complete different story Always had the worst friends in that aspect, mostly drug addicts and alcoholics,petty thieves pot heads and stuff, knew some really bad people of course l could actually make a whole video series about the shit that happened back then. Most of the day we were just hanging out on the street drinking booze and smoking pot etc. That part was really awesome for me l have to say, l miss those days some times. l learned a lot about the real world and people honestly.

My Health Ed class in junior high made us carry around hollow eggs to "simulate" parenthood. We wrote reports about our time with the eggs and were encouraged to be creative. I took some old pics of me and, using a stencil and liquid paper, added my egg. I had it attending family gatherings and such. My teacher was so thrilled with it, she used my report as an example for several years afterwards.

I don't live in as rough an area as some of the stories here, but still: - vandalism is the norm. I've had the tyres slashed on my bike several times, the laundry room is closed around new year, as people threw fireworks into the machines, the parking lot is often used as a racing track with burnouts - some years ago it wasn't uncommon for people to steal cars around town, drive them until they were thrashed, then take them to this area and set them on fire. That has since been reduced a lot, mainly because of the cameras we now have. Although it's still very common to see stolen cars ditched at the side of the streets

I have never in my life walked out of a movie I PAID to go see. Mainly it's The Sunken Cost Fallacy. I sat through the entirety of Dragonball Evolution, suffering every single minute of that sin against the senses because I usually didn't have the money to see a movie and I had to see how it ended. BIL moved in temporarily in 2018, still here. Took over and damaged my favourite chair so badly I had to toss it, his hoarded things took over the garage and dining room, so obese his skin split dripping blood and other fluids for me to clean up, chunks of skin too. 🤢 Bathroom smells go through closed doors and through the house before he leaves the door open while he gets the worst smelling spray from his room to add to the stench. Demanded special meals and expensive ingredients, including in meals that I made for myself and kids on days when he was out because he wanted to eat the leftovers we saved for our lunches the next day but didn’t like the ingredients. Complained how bad my cooking was because I cooked real food while he was expecting pizza every night even though he ate it for lunch every day and other junk food. Was not paying rent even though he was claiming rental assistance, husband didn’t want to stir the pot but I had to when Covid hit and it looked like husband and I would lose our income while his was safe. Neighbours joked that the pizza delivery guys lost their income because they noticed less deliveries because he had been spending the rental assistance on pizza. There’s heaps more but I am getting a cramp typing
